Moor Spa’s Disincrustation gel has been designed to open up pores, soften sebum, and make extractions much easier within the treatment room. Disincrustation gel is suitable for oily, congested, or acne-prone skin. It is highly recommended to use with a steamer, but it can also be used with galvanic or ultrasound.

- After cleansing the client's skin, apply damp cotton rounds over the clients eyes.
- Next, apply disincrustation gel with a facial brush where you intend to perform extractions. Alternatively, you may use a cotton pad.
- Leave the disincrustation gel on for 10-15 minutes with steam. It is recommended to not leave on for longer than 20 minutes at a time.
- While your client is waiting, you may want to perform a neck and shoulder massage.
- Optional: for blackheads that tend to be harder to extract, you may want to use ultrasound or galvanic after you have steamed your client. This step is especially useful on heavily congested pores and dry, tight skin. Make sure to apply a conductive gel over the solution if using ultrasound or galvanic.
- After your client has steamed for 10-15 minutes, it is time to neutralize the disincrustation gel. This can be done using water and/or with moor spa glycolic toner.
- Next step is to perform extractions. If blackheads are not coming out easily, apply more solution and steam for an additional 5 minutes.
- Once completing extractions, clean the area with glycolic toner.
- Apply blemish gel anywhere extractions have been performed.
